Pro Tem Cindy O’Laughlin (R-Shelbina) joined Randy Tobler and Jennifer Bukowsky live on 939 the Eagle’s “Wake Up Missouri”:

“I kind of define what we currently have as kind of an auto-pilot spending. Even though the (Missouri Senate) Appropriations Committee goes over all the spending, the House side goes over it, the governor’s office goes over it,” O’Laughlin says.

She says Missouri has seen unsustainable budget growth in recent years. She is in her final year in the Missouri Senate and will be forced out in December by term limits. Pro Tem O’Laughlin represents Moberly, Mexico and Huntsville in our listening area.
