We are just a few days away from the 20th annual 939 the Eagle Multipli Credit Union Miracles for Kids Radiothon.
It airs Thursday and Friday (February 19 and 20) from 6 am to 6 pm on the Eagle and four other Zimmer mid-Missouri radio stations. Zimmer Radio operations manager Carson says you’ll hear powerful stories from many of the champions being treated at MU Health Care’s Children’s Hospital in Columbia:
“Camrey, one of our Champion children, her montage this year from her mom is a great update and a great symbolism of what she’s overcome. And the first listen to it … you guys will hear it Thursday/Friday. But my first listen was powerful. I mean it is tears but it’s happy tears,” Carson says.

Radiothon raises money for lifesaving equipment and supports program needs at MU Health Care’s Children’s Hospital in Columbia. No child is ever turned away, regardless of ability to pay.

You will hear powerful and inspiring stories during this week’s Radiothon. Zimmer operations manager Carson tells 939 the Eagle that every dollar you donate makes a big difference to the champions at Children’s Hospital in Columbia:
“You’ve got music therapy fully supported by CMN (Children’s Miracle Network) dollars. Fully supported by the money we raise through Radiothon. You’ve got all these distraction therapies that these kids look forward to their treatment at the hospital,” he says.
