A wrongful death lawsuit accuses the manufacturer of a Jeep that rear – ended the victim of a Highway – 63 crash could have prevented the accident. Ashley Apel was killed when a Jeep driven by a Higbee man hit her car as she was stopped in traffic near Hallsville because of an earlier crash. Two others died in the 2023 accident.
