Mizzou football team beats Arkansas 31-17, retaining Battle Line trophy

The Missouri Tiger football team will learn its bowl destination on Sunday December 7. The Tigers beat Arkansas 31-17 in Saturday’s Battle Line rivalry game in Fayetteville to finish the regular season 8-4 and 4-4 in the Southeastern Conference.

The Tigers were led by Doak Walker award finalist Ahmad Hardy, who had 27 carries for 157 yards and a touchdown. Hardy has rushed for 1,560 yards this season, the fourth-most in Mizzou history. St. Mary’s high school product Kevin Coleman also returned a punt 67 yards for a Mizzou score.

The Tigers win the rivalry game for the fourth straight year.
