Mizzou Athletics has announced that Tiger football fans are now required to enter Memorial Stadium on the side where their tickets are located.

This change begins with Saturday’s border war clash with Kansas and for the rest of the season. Saturday’s 2:30 game is a sellout.
Mizzou athletic director Laird Veatch says that for Saturday and for the season of the 2025 season, fans have to enter the stadium on the side where their seats are located. The change is aims to reduce and eliminate congestion on the south concourse. Mizzou says ticket scanners will not allow access on the incorrect side, and the university plans to position additional staff near gates to direct foot traffic and to answer questions.
Mizzou also plans to run help fans who park on one side of Faurot field and sit on the other: Mizzou Athletics will run courtesy shuttles from Mick Deaver near Lot I to near Gate 5W and vice versa. Shuttles will run from two hours before kickoff until one hour after the game ends. Mr. Veatch says staff noticed what he calls unacceptable congestion in the south concourse area at the opener against Central Arkansas. Mr. Veatch says that caused major crowding issues and delays.
Mizzou football fans will also see notice cranes, construction workers and construction equipment at Faurot. The massive $250-million Memorial Stadium improvement project at Mizzou in Columbia continues.
