New details on JCMO fatal stabbing

A man charged with stabbing his wife to death at their Jefferson City home had moved to Mid – Missouri from Afghanistan. Malang Jan Akbari is accused of killing his wife earlier this week. The pastor of his church says Akbari worked as a translator for the U-S military and sought asylum for his family. He faces first degree murder charges and endangering the welfare of a child. The pastor says the church is working with the couple’s children. Investigators say Akbari admitted to the attack.
