Cole County ambulances will be getting an updated tracking system.
The ambulances are currently tracked by GPS location through cell phones. Cole County EMS is going to install a more modern system on its ambulances, similar to one used by Cole County deputies.
The units will cost about $70,000. Most of the cost will be covered by ARPA funds.
