New JCMO subdivision may not be popular with some of the neighbors

A new residential development in west Jefferson City was approved last week by the city council. Developer Jeff Hemme of Hemme Construction said Savannah Place on Rainbow Drive will include 116 homes, all of them aimed to price under the $300,000 range. Some nearby homeowners claim the development will hurt their property values.
