One person is dead after a shooting in southern Callaway County early Saturday morning.
The Callaway County deputies were sent to a business in the 8000 block of Route CC outside of Steedman before 2-a.m. They say a man was shot during what they call a “confrontation.”
No word if anyone was taken into custody. The sheriff’s office does say there’s no danger to the public.
