Osage County Jail is ready to reopen

What do you do with the inmates when you don’t have jailers to watch them? Close the jail. The Osage County jail has been closed because of low staffing. But Sheriff Mike Bonham says he’ll reopen the jail Monday and has hired new staff. He’s had to transfer inmates to other area jails since June. Each transfer costs the county at least $50 a day.
