Human remains found near Chamois are now confirmed as those of an Osage County man missing since last summer.
Investigators with the Highway Patrol say the remains belong to 35 – year old Derek Holtmeyer of Linn
He was reported missing July 12, 2023.
The remains were found Feb. 8.
