Rolla area man recovering after a car wreck leaves him lying in a ditch

An elderly Mid – Missouri man is being treated for hypothermia after he was found lying soaked with water in a ditch on Sunday. A neighbor checking on weather damage found the man along a county road near Doolittle and Newburg in the Rolla area. Emergency crews believe the man had been in the ditch for three hours after a slide-off car crash.
