It looks like a Missouri gun rights law is off the table for the rest of this legislative session. SAPA .. the Second Amendment Preservation Act .. would have fined law officers who enforce federal gun laws that differ from Missouri’s. The 2021 law was struck down by a federal judge. This year’s version failed to advance after gun dealers testified it could hurt their business.
