Hungry and elderly residents in mid-Missouri’s Fulton and Callaway County will benefit from Saturday’s fundraiser at a Fulton fitness center.

Fulton’s Serve Incorporated has a food pantry and second-hand store and also provides affordable public transportation to those in need. Saturday’s fundraiser is from 3-6 pm at Fulton’s Grit Fitness. Serve says people will be lifting weights and taking any donation from sponsors, with all donations advancing Serve’s mission.

Serve’s food pantry assistance helps all individuals in need, regardless of income. That food pantry provides fresh, healthy produce and frozen meats and foods.

Serve was founded in 1971 by a group of local pastors and churches in Callaway County.
