Sheriff’s DWI trial will be in September

Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism will now stand trial on DWI charges in September. Chism was cited after allegedly running his pickup into a concrete barrier at a Moberly fast food restaurant last year. Officers say Chism was drunk and had an open bottle of alcohol in the car. He was granted a continuence this week.
