The woman accused of trying to poison her husband draws only probation in the case. Sarah Scheffer of Jefferson City was initially charged with attempted murder but ended up pleading guilty to domestic assault charges. Her husband used a hidden camera to film Scheffer putting potentially poisonous plant roots into his smoothie. Lilly of the Valley can cause heart problems.
