Monday’s snowstorm did a number on some places in Mid – Missouri but barely touched others. The storms managed to cause all sorts of accidents from about Ashland to the north. But Jefferson City got off easy with only an inch or two of snow. But areas like Mexico got ice with the snow causing many slide – off accidents. Lots of semis got stuck on the icy roads.
A 21 – year old from Jamestown died when he ran off Highway – 179 in Cole County.
