The storms knocked out power all across Mid – Missouri. About 1500 – homes and businesses served by Ameren were without power in western Cole County, north of Highway – 50. Another 1500 – had no power in Camden County. Laclede and Pulaski Counties had scattered outages as well. Much of the powers was back on by 10 – pm.
A tornado hit Clinton near Warrensburg, damaging some schools, a lumberyard and several homes. No one was hurt.
