Suspect accused of shooting his JCMO girlfriend

A woman from Jefferson City is at University Hospital with gunshot wounds and her convicted felon boyfriend is accused of shooting her. Jerome Malone is charged with felony assault after the weekend shooting. He also faces charges of being a felon in possession of a gun.
