Former Boone County clerk Taylor Burks decides not to run in the August Republican 3rd District Congressional primary. He had been endorsed by 4th District Rep. Mark Alford, who represents the Fourth Congressional District.
Former Columbia state senator candidate Kurt Schaefer filed to run for the seat.
