Jefferson City Police have identified a body discovered Friday afternoon in the Missouri River as 70-year-old Michael Blecher of Jefferson City.
JCPD investigators say an autopsy was completed on Tuesday and that they have found no evidence of foul play or criminal activity associated with his death, at this time. Jefferson City Police say detectives will continue to finish the death investigation and coordinate with the medical examiner’s office regarding the final determination.
Mr. Blecher’s body was found floating face down near the Noren river access in north Jefferson City.
