Missouri state troopers say a Harrisburg woman has been killed in Tuesday night’s head-on collision at Route E and West Akeman Bridge road, northwest of Columbia.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The Patrol’s crash report says the head-on collision happened when a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old Harrisburg man crossed the center line, striking a Chevrolet driven by a 24-year-old Harrisburg woman head on. She was killed. The male driver who crossed the center line sustained moderate injuries.
The crash scene is located west of Highway 63 in Boone County, north of the Chapel View Stables.
