There’s additional good news on this Friday morning from Wyoming involving Missouri deputy attorney general Shaun Mackelprang, as he continues to recover in a hospital after being rescued on a mountain.
Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway tells 939 the Eagle’s “Wake Up Missouri” that Mr. Mackelprang is expected to make a full recovery and that there are no broken bones.

Sublette County Sheriff’s deputies say Shaun continues to recover well after being rescued. Deputies say Mr. Mackelprang has provided a statement of gratitude as he recovers.
The statement reads: “I cannot say enough about the dedicated men and women who worked to save my life. Their selfless desire to serve those who might otherwise be lost for good, stood as witness to the goodness of the human heart. I am so grateful to Tip Top Search and Rescue and the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office, they were ready and prepared to stand up in my time of need. It’s no easy task to put your life on the line for someone else, especially a stranger who had no place in your life. These men and women did so without a second thought. May God bless them for their good deeds and compassion.”
