Councilmen get an update on the planned Jefferson City Conference Center project. The complex near the Governor’s Mansion should cost around $120 – million. The recent state budget signed by the Governor includes about $15 – million for the project. The Council okayed using state tax credits for the hotel, center and a new parking garage.
