While Columbia, Jefferson City, Ashland, Fulton and most of the 939 the Eagle listening area are NOT under a winter weather advisory, Moberly and Huntsville are and Kirksville is under a winter storm warning.

The main issue that will continue to impact Columbia/Jefferson City is cold. National Weather Service (NWS) St. Louis meteorologist Matt Beitscher says most areas will see rain or some light snow between 10 pm Friday and 2 am Saturday. While Columbia and Jefferson City expect to see a trace of snow, Mr. Beitscher tells 939 the Eagle that Moberly expects to see an inch of two of snow and that number will be higher as you head into far northeast Missouri.

Hannibal and Edina could see anywhere from two to eight inches of snow. You’ll want to bundle up this weekend: Sunday’s high in Columbia will only be in the 20s. Keep your radio tuned to 939 the Eagle for updated forecast information.
