We might have dodged the highest snow totals but the sub zero predictions were right on the money

While Jefferson City didn’t get the 10 -12 inches of snow that the weatherman said was possible, we still got our share. Most of the area topped out at about 5 – 7 inches total. But some locations had 8 or 9 – inches. And the worst of it has been the sub zero cold coupled with Gusty winds. Roads crews say it could be Tuesday before they can get the roads completely cleared. The good news is there’s no more snow in this weeks forecast. Mo-Dot says their snow melt chemicals just don’t work well below 20 degrees.
