What’s the consensus on a four – day school week?

Will Southern Boone in Ashland be the next Mid – Missouri school district to go to four – day weeks? Parents sounded off at a meeting this week. The district is discussing going to a Tuesday through Friday school week. Mondays would be the off – day also reserved for teacher training. Ashland School Board members say a four – day week could help with recruiting new staff.
