The trial for a man accused in a ten – year old Jefferson City killing won’t happen until next spring. Shavontay Estes is charged with murder in the shooting death of Dennis Thompson in 2017. Estes wasn’t arrested until two years after Thomspon’s death at a Collier Street home.
