The man accused of shooting and killing two victims in a downtown Jefferson City bar gets a new judge for his trial. Damien Davis is charged with murder in the deaths of Skylar Smock and Corey Thames at J – Pfenneys back in 2022. Cole County Judge Christopher Limbaugh will handle the case after Judge Brian Stumpe recuses himself. Prosecutors say they’ll seek the death penalty.
