MoDOT and their contractor Lunda Construction says they’re continuing the cleanup at the Rocheport Bridge site.
The contractor missed the 24 – hour deadline to remove 6 million pounds of steel from the old bridge from the river but the river is back open to barges.
Construction on the eastbound bridge will start in October.
