Workforce housing project okayed for JCMO

Workforce housing has been a big catch word in Jefferson City, especially since the 2019 tornado destroyed over 100 lower income homes. The Council this week has approved zoning changes for a duplex project and a new subdivision. About 50 – acres of Wildwood Drive would be rezoned. The developer plans to build about 70 duplexes.
