JC firefighters on the scene of a home fire – badly damaged

Jefferson City firefighters are at the scene of a fire on the city’s far east side. Crews were called out to the home on Tomahawk Road around 5:30 this morning. Crews say the home was in flames when they arrived. Firefighters are calling the house a total loss. Tomahawk is off East McCarty near the eastern city limits.
