The winter that won’t go away! More snow starting late Saturday night

KMIZ –: With the heaviest bands of snow setting up in the southern portion of mid-Missouri, higher totals can be expected as you head further south of I-70. On average, 2-4″ can be expected along the I-70 and to the north. South of Columbia 3″-4″ is possible overhead of Jefferson City. Near the Lake of the Ozarks accumulation could be as high as 4″ or more. Of course, as the system moves inland and closer to mid-Missouri these totals will evolve. The National Weather Service isn’t ruling out as much as 6-8″ for some parts of Mid-Missouri. It should start Saturday night around midnight and continue through Sunday afternoon.
