JCMO child hit by a van — driver arrested

A toddler is recovering after being hit by a car in Jefferson City. Police said two-year old Jason Williams was standing on Monroe Street yesterday (mon), near the curb, when James Buchanan allegedly hit him with his Dodge Caravan. The boy was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Officers arrested Buchanan, accusing him of driving drunk.
