Big fire destroys Jefferson City business

Firefighters spent two hours fighting a fire that heavily damaged an east end business. Crews were called to the area of High and Lafayette around 4:30pm Thursday. The roofing company at the scene was on fire and it took two hours to get the fire under control. Parts of High Street are still closed today. The Fire marshal is investigating the cause. No one was injured.
