You’ve heard them joke about the ‘Bridge to Nowhere’. But Jefferson City Councilman Ron Fitzwater thinks a pedestrian bridge from the Capitol to Adrian’s Island will be a good tourist draw …      

Most of the funding for the Bicentennial Bridge is coming from about $5-million that’s already been donated. Detractors say Adrian’s Island will end up under water every time the river comes up.
