Columbia man is badly injured in an attack at the post office

A man has life-threatening injuries after he’s hit with a pole in downtown Columbia. Police say the victim was attacked in the lobby of the Post Office on Walnut Street early yesterday (tue) morning. He made it to the nearby CPD lobby, and authorities got him to a hospital. Eddie Linzie was arrested for assault and armed criminal action over the attack.
