Cats rescued from Jefferson City house fire

Jefferson City crews rescue five cats from a fire.

Investigators report heavy smoke and flames coming from the back of a home on Bolton Drive on Monday night. No people were hurt.

Authorities are blaming the fire on smoking materials that were not thrown away properly.
