JCMO man charged in boy’s shooting

A Jefferson City man faces charges for accidentally shooting his young son. Phillip Lumas Sr. is charged with domestic assault and child endangerment after his 8 – year old son was shot early Tuesday morning. Lumas claims he was unloading the gun when his son startled him and the gun went off. The boy was transferred to University Hospital. There’s no word on his condition.
