Tracking the virus in Cole County

COVID cases are increasing in Cole County.

But many of the confirmed cases and deaths involved long term care facilities. Other cases involve the prisons in the county and large office settings. Officials say even family gatherings and travel outside the area are playing a role in the number of confirmed cases.
