Former Fulton Firefighters Union leader charged

A former leader of the Fulton firefighters’ union is accused of stealing money from the organization. A special prosecutor filed a felony charge against Scott Peterson yesterday (wed). Authorities said they discovered the union had suffered a “significant financial loss” from an apparent case of embezzlement. Peterson was arrested last week. He used to serve as the union’s treasurer and president.
