Child dies in Lake boating accident

An eight-year old boy from Waynesville is dead after a boating accident in the Lake of the Ozarks. The patrol says the boy was on his family’s boat on the Glaize Arm of the lake Saturday afternoon. The boy exited the rear of the boat and was hit by the propeller. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
