More flights out of Mid – Missouri

Columbia Regional Airport’s passenger numbers are rebounding. About 10-thousand people flew out last month. That’s about half of a typical month before the pandemic, but way up from April of last year. American Airlines just announced it’s adding a fifth daily flight next month. Mike Parks with the airport says United is close to bringing back its daily Denver flight.

Parks says the new, bigger terminal is set to open next summer.
