Winter weather on the way

Mid – Missouri will see a snowy weekend. Rain starts this afternoon and changes to a rain – snow mix overnight. The snow should continue until at least early afternoon Saturday. 2 – 5 inches is expected for the Jefferson City area with more snow to the north. Roads could be a challenge tonight and Saturday.
