Cole County’s Auditor leaves for Helias job

Mark Ruether is the new Cole County Auditor.

Ruether was appointed by the Governor to fill the remainder of the term of current Cole County Auditor Kristen Berhorst.

She’s leaving to become the director of finance at Helias Catholic High School.

Ruether is currently the county’s Deputy Treasurer.
