Recreational marijuana question WILL be on the ballot

You’ll see a ballot item on whether to approve recreational marijuana use in Missouri when you head to the polls in November. Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft announced yesterday (tue) that an initiative petition received enough signatures to place the issue on the general election ballot. Republicans in the state legislature have shot down earlier proposals to legalize marijuana for recreational purposes. Medical marijuana is already legal in Missouri.
