Open burning season is back in JCMO

Fire up the burn barrel. It’s that time of year again. Jefferson Citians are allowed to burn yard waste now through March 1^st. That only includes sticks, grass clippings and leaves .. not trash. Opening burning is only allowed during daylight hours. Yard waste can also be dropped off at the compost site on South Ridge Drive.
