Extra patrols this weekend by Columbia Police for DWI enforcement

Columbia Police say they’re increasing DWI enforcement this weekend due to the potential for Cinco de Mayo and Mizzou stop day activities. Stop day activities are also known as reading day by some students. There are no classes today at Mizzou, with exams coming up next week.

CPD officers are encouraging anyone who’s been drinking or impaired by other substances to have a designated driver or ask a friend or family member to pick you up.
