JCFD crews battle apartment fire

Jefferson City firefighters spent Sunday evening putting out hot spots after an apartment building fire. The fire broke out around 5:30pm in the 500 block of Ellis Blvd. Everyone got out safely, but the building was damaged. There’s no word on a cause. No one was hurt.
