Cole / JCMO ballot

There are several issues and races on Cole County’s ballot. The Jefferson City Schools have a bond issue designed to remodel the middle schools and fund a new early childhood education center. Several Jefferson City council seats are up for grabs, as are schools board seats. Ron Fitzwater is the only candidate for Jefferson City Mayor. Both Cole County and Jefferson City have 3-percent marijuana sales tax issues, as do many other towns.
